2020 Events Postponed

Unfortunately, our 2020 events are postponed due to Covid-19 state and county restrictions. Once the state and county restrictions went into effect, we could not meet the multiple guidelines for our volunteers to plan and prepare for the events. It is also likely that the orders would not be lifted in time to obtain the necessary permits and other contractual obligations in order to produce the event.  You may “roll over” your registration to 2021, and if you purchased a t-shirt you will be contacted for a refund through PayPal. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
You can review the Seattle/King County limits here.

Come Join Us in 2021!

The Vashon Island Ultramarathon & Trail Run will return in 2021!  As always we will meet on the first Saturday in June to enjoy a day of running together on Vashon’s beautiful trail systems.  Please note that registration will open later in 2020 (usually in December) and participants who already registered for 2020 will be offered a roll-over for their registration to 2021.  Keep running!  Stay healthy!

Join in the Fun

Managed entirely by volunteers, the Vashon Ultra happens only with the generous support of countless individuals. Opportunities to help out are plentiful and varied. Email us at volunteers@vashonultra.com to join the team.

The Vashon Island Ultramarathon & Trail Run is the only event on Vashon Island to connect previously unconnected trail systems which span miles of the islands woods and open space – encompassing local and county parks, natural preserves, and private property, giving participants a truly unique opportunity to explore the beauty that Vashon has to offer.  Local runners come back year after year, as the budding trail running community flourishes.  And runners from all over the globe come to experience the pristine single track and the small town flavor that makes this event a Pacific Northwest favorite.
